Eustolia Zapata

Eustolia Zapata, 91, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Monterrey, N.L., Mrs. Zapata had lived in Edinburg all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Rogerio Zapata; a grandson, Jaime “Bino” Zapata; and her parents, Jose and Antonia Morales.
Mrs. Zapata is survived by her five children, Rogerio Jesus (Elva) Zapata of Edinburg, Andrea Esquivel of San Antonio, Angelita Bernal, Romeo (Carmen) Zapata, both of Edinburg, Amalia Zapata of Corpus Christi; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. talk today, September 9, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Interment will take place at 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2018, at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
