FRANCISCA ZAPATA
ALAMO – Francisca Zapata, 64, went home to the Lord Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Born in Mission, Francisca lived in Alamo for most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Inocencio and Cruz Zapata; and four siblings, Miguel Zapata, Juan Zapata, Carmen Zapata, and Rosa Garcia.
Francisca is survived by four children, Amado (Ana) Gonzalez Jr. of Alamo, Sylvestre (Yvonne) Gonzalez of Austin, TX, Michelle (Rigoberto) Garza, Christy (Miguel) Granados, both of Alamo; 12 grandchildren, Thalia, Sylvestre Jr., Brittney, Mike Anthony, Ashley, Cruz, Chrissy, Jeremiah, Darshaun, Celeste, Clarissa, Brian; two great-grandchildren, Jatzira and Blake; five siblings, Santiago Zapata, Paul Zapata, Maria Pena, Raphael Zapata, Sandra Contreras; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg. A memorial service will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
