ROBERTO P. ZAVALA
PHARR – Roberto P. Zavala, 84, died Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Mr. Zavala was born in Pharr and had lived there all of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marcial and Isabel Zavala; and a sister, Antonia Zavala.
Mr. Zavala is survived by his wife of 46 years, Petra Zavala; a daughter, Maria Isabel Zavala; and a brother, Juan (Juanita) Zavala, all of Pharr.
A rosary was held Monday, January 16, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., January 17, 2012, at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
