Exiquia G. Zuniga

PHARR - Exiquia G. Zuniga passed away on December 27, 2011, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in Mission, Mrs. Zuniga lived in Pharr most of her life. She was loved by her family and her spiritual Jehovah's Witness brothers and sisters, and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jacobo and Agustina Gallegos; two brothers, Narciso and Jacobo Gallegos; and a grandson, Eric Polanco. Mrs. Zuniga is survived by her husband, Virgilio Zuniga of Pharr; three sons, Virgilio (Lupita) Zuniga, Jr., Javier (Maggie McKinnon) Zuniga, both of San Juan, and Hector (Margarita De Leon) Zuniga of Pharr; three daughters, Maria De Jesus (Jesus) Polanco of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Idolina (Benito) Pena and Nora Alicia (Leandro, Jr.) Galvan, both of Pharr; 16 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.



Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. talk today, December 30, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.



Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in
San Juan.
