MATTHEW ADAM ZUNIGA PHARR – Matthew Adam Zuniga, 20, died Saturday, January 10, 2015, in Pharr. Born in McAllen, he had lived in Pharr for the past eight years and was formerly of Edinburg. He is preceded death by his maternal grandmother, Maria Estella Lopez; and his paternal grandfather, Guadalupe Zuniga. Matthew is survived by his mother, Guadalupe Lopez of Pharr; his father, Adan Zuniga of Edinburg; a sister, Crystal Faith Zuniga of Pharr; his maternal grandfather, Luz Lopez of Pharr; his paternal grandmother, Maria Guadalupe Ramos Zuniga; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
